Microraptor T-shirts!
over 5 years ago – Fri, Aug 24, 2018 at 01:43:09 PM

Hello all!

I hope you're all doing well and you've all received your items by now! (If not, shoot me a message and I'll sort it out!)

I just wanted to let you all know I've started another, much smaller Kickstarter project, this time to get some T-shirts featuring a heraldic style Microraptor made. They'll be the same style shirts as the Archaeopteryx ones, but in black.

Click here to take a look!

This project is already over 100% funded, but these shirts will be Kickstarter exclusive, so if you liked your Archaeopteryx shirt and want to add a Microraptor to your wardrobe, now's your chance!

Thanks again to everyone for their continued support!

Regards,
Rebecca

A Slight Shipping Hitch
almost 6 years ago – Tue, Jun 05, 2018 at 04:55:46 AM

Hello everyone!

This is just a quick notification for people still awaiting their plushies.

I'm really sorry but a few of the orders were delayed at the Post Office -  I dropped the last lot of around 150 parcels off before I was away for 3 weeks and it turned out I didn't quite have enough on my Drop and Go card to cover all the orders. Around 10 parcels were held at the Post Office until I got back (I was out the country and my phone wasn't working so the Post Office had no way of contacting me to top up like they normally do).

As such, a few of the orders were only just shipped on the 1st June so may take a bit longer to arrive. If you have any concerns, contact me and I can check if your order was one of the ones effected by this.

I really appreciate everyone's continued support, understanding and patience.

I hope everyone is having a lovely spring (or autumn if you're in the Southern hemisphere).

All the best,
Rebecca

Archaeopteryx Shipping Clarification!
almost 6 years ago – Sat, May 05, 2018 at 11:45:56 AM

Hi all!

Just a follow-up to my last update as there's been quite a few questions.

I haven't received an email from Backerkit saying my item is shipped, should I be worried?
No! Don't worry. They've all been shipped, some people have received confirmation from Backerkit, other people haven't and I'm not sure why. If you log into Backerkit itself it should be marked down as shipped.

How long will it take to arrive?
All overseas (from the UK) parcels have been sent via Airmail which the Royal Mail advises should take 5-7 working days to arrive. In my experience they can sometimes take longer than this (up to 3 weeks in some cases) if a given parcel has been selected for customs checks by the country it is being imported into. Usually this happens to Canadian orders in my experience.

Where is my tracking number?
These parcels were not sent tracked. I know some countries automatically issue tracking numbers for every parcel, but in the UK you have to pay extra for this service. I did not charge people the required amount to have these parcels tracked, and it can cost over £10 more per parcel depending on the size for this service. Sorry about this!

What if I am not about to collect my parcel?
If your parcel is not delivered and you are unable to collect it from the post office, it should eventually be returned to me. Any parcels that are returned to me I will send out again for free! (After contacting the person to make sure they haven't moved etc.)

I hope this clears up some things!

Regards,
Rebecca

Everything is shipped!

This is to let you all know that -all- the Archaeopteryx are now shipped and you should've received notifications via Backerkit. I've been packing and posting them in batches over the past 2 weeks so some have already arrived, yay!

I've dropped the last car load of orders off at the Post Office today, and they should be processed by Wednesday at the latest.

Did you know a Citroen C1 can carry at least 130 Archaeopteryx? No? Well, you do now.

Keep an eye out for parcels over the next few weeks! UK parcels should be here this week at the latest as well as other EU ones, parcels heading further afield could take 2-3 weeks depending on customs etc.

I'm so glad they're all done now packing 400+ Archaeopteryx and all the extras myself seemed like a better idea before I started, but they're done now! Thanks everyone for your patience!

They're Here!
